Reiser vs Anderson

Have Reiser in a platoon situation with Puckett and have the option of substituting Anderson, playing in the Baker Bowl, Reiser is a 5R and Anderson is a 3R.

Who should I take???

Reiser. Anderson's advantages of hitting against left-handed pitchers, base-stealing
, and power are offset by Reiser's defense, throwing arm, and ability to make productive outs. Reiser's triples advantage will buffer the loss of home runs. I might take Anderson if the rest of the roster has unimpressive home-run power or if 50% of the opposing relief pitchers are left-handed.

Murcer might be better for you than either of them. He has 7 # against RHP and 6 against LHP, so his power is close to Anderson's and he's a 1(-2)e3 so his defense is closer to Reiser's than Anderson's.
