I agree that these last two teams likely will be cellar dwellers. A random draft order would have been better.

Guys, I didn't create this league, so I can just share my interpretation. My take is that you pick one team year (such as 1927 Yankees), fill you roster with all cards available for that team year and then fill the remaining handful of spots with cheap(?) players from your franchise and approximate year (such as cheap cards for 1920-1930 Yankees).

Regarding the teams posted, I have no clue what year Dodgers were taken - 1924, 1953, 1965, 1977? If anyone knows how to reach that "skatslater", we could him.

Meanwhile, some good unclaimed teams I see include the 1970 Orioles, 1929 A's, and 1975 Reds, 1942 or 1946 Cardinals, 1934 or 1936 NY Giants, or 1946 Red Sox. Of course Mets fans can grab their 1969 or 1986 team.

As a footnote, I think the 1977 Phillies would also be surprisingly good... if they only faced right-handed pitching.

One spot open.

Good teams remaining include the 1929 Philadelphia A's, 1970 Orioles, 1975 Reds, 1942 or 1946 Cardinals, 1934 or 1936 NY Giants, or 1946 Red Sox.

Yeah - I was thinking about joining also - but curious who you picked since the league is no longer in the directory!!

Needed to lose my finals quickly(I did) so that I could use my one credit. I would have gone with 29 A's wondering what last team is

I had briefly looked at the '29 A's also - looked strong, but not a lot of pitching besides Lefty Grove.
I would have probably went the "homer" route and gone with '42 or '46 Cards.

Would like to get in a league like this if playing on an even cap basis and team selections were by randomization.
