Live Draft Crashed--Refunds Requested

I guess actually deleting the league itself was too much trouble for Mr. Garcia.

Can deleting a league really be that difficult? Or take that long?

According to the league page, our draft started 5312 minutes ago.

That's a lot of minutes.....

And we’re up to 5480 minutes into the draft.
I e-mailed support, and asked them to delete the league and return the credits, as promised.
For anyone feeling brave (or masochistic), I created a new league to try again this Friday. Though I guess if the old one still isn’t deleted, we can just draft there....

The replacement league for this Friday night sounds great and I've signed up.

Dear Last Druid, please create the simulation game, and use Bernie for help. I'll happily be a supporter and join your efforts. The lack of SOM customer service is an abomination.

I think there's a way to improve on and disruptively innovate on the original SOM concept, which was truly revolutionary for its time. But many years have passed, and we all see the flaws now. I think the most fundamental appeal for any game simulation is to have card to look at, as SOM does. Looking at the cards, analyzing them endlessly, is what inspires us. So, something that like that card interface could continue, but with an interface/cards offering more accuracy for game play, and, of course, a better company and customer service.
