Injury Frequency is Ridiculous

PostThu Aug 30, 2018 12:37 pm

There are way too many injuries to players in the daily game. So far in 93 games my team has had 34 injuries of at least 1 additional game. 224 total games missed. That's an injury to a player every 3 games all year long. That does not happen in real life. The other teams in my division are at 24 injuries, 24 and 31 (including Goldschmidt 3 different times! He hasn't been injured 3 times in the last 4 years combined in real life.)

I completely understand statistics and probabilities in a game simulating random dice rolls. J.D Martinez has less homeruns then he should on my team. $*it happens. But the injuries are just out of control and not realistic.

GoldyHOF,

Are you playing in a league with "Super-Advanced Injuries" on or off?

And...

that is why nobody plays with them on.

Like most of what SOM has put out in the last year, it's sloppy, not thought out well, and the majority is not happy with it.

Exactly.

The Super Advanced Injuries creates far too many injuries and for far too long (60 games). In the future, look for leagues with this option turned off. Meanwhile, stick it out with this league. All of the other managers in that league are stuck with the same rule, so at least it's an even playing field.
