Thank you to Glenn and/or Jeff/and or whomever I was texting with about my picks the last two days. And apologize if I slowed down the draft. Let me 'splain. My 45th high school class reunion was this weekend and I didn't plan on attending because I assumed I had been long forgotten by all those kids from so long ago. But I changed my mind at the last minute when an old, old friend, Mark, contacted me on Thursday. My senior year in h.s. I arranged a blind date between Mark and the girl I was dating (I know it sounds strange but I thought they'd make the perfect couple). They've been married 43 years now, have two grown sons and two grandchildren. Mark told me they were coming to the reunion and really wanted to reconnect with me. So I quickly packed a suitcase, slipped the harness on my dog and hit the highway. In the meantime somehow (my sister is the main suspect) word got around that I was coming home. From the minute I hit town to the minute I left, I've spent the last two days reconnecting with people from long, long ago who wanted to see me again. The whole weekend was a very emotional and very humbling experience. And I confess I pretty much forgot about this draft. But I'm back home now and back online and I'll try to get with the program again. I hope my inattention hasn't been too great of a drag on what we have going here!
Hey, Kevin A, I'm happy for you. What an unexpected experience from an event you weren't planning to attend. Sounds, great.
I have my 50th, coming up next year and like you have not attended one since, probably, my tenth. You have given me reason to consider attending it, instead of blowing it off, like before.
No worries tall guy glad you had a great experience...and technically you weren't late, we were just early....soon as Glenn puts down his pick I'll set up a non-timed one and hopefully we can get it done before tomorrow's timed one. J
