Don Sutton(23-14) thrilled the fans at Petco Park '05 as he crafted a no-hit masterpiece against the New York Giants. The TMOTM V won by a final score of 5 to 3.

TMOTM brought 2 runs across the plate in the bottom of the 7th inning. Ray Schalk opened up the inning nicely when he drew a walk. After an out was recorded, Hal McRae came up and he doubled. Bing Miller then doubled scoring two baserunners. TMOTM totaled 10 hits on the afternoon.

The loss was charged to Pete Vuckovich(17-8). He allowed 10 hits and 2 walks in 6 and 1/3 innings. 'You probably have a better chance of winning the lottery than this happening,' said Sutton, 'I don't expect it to sink in for awhile,' he said. 'I'm numb right now, I'm overwhelmed.'
