100 Win Curse Strikes With A Vengeance

In a recently completed 24 team league, there were THREE 100+ win teams.

Surprisingly, all THREE lost in the Quarter Finals with none of them even making it to a game 5. Ouch!

My Winning % is BETTER with sub 100 win teams vs. 101+ win teams in the post season....and I have a pretty good sample size to say, NOMADS believe in the 100 win curse:

sub 100 win teams in post season is approx .548
101 + win teams in post season is approx .512

Quite interesting to see the bum treatment Hal or just bad luck gave Drfreeze in the West division in the first link. He led that group in run differential, but went 18-39 in one run games. He finished 76-86, Pythagorean says expected 94-68. My sympathies, that would be frustrating.
