Congrats to Jeep for earning the #1 pick overall, and Cristano for picking up the semifinal championship. Looks like our order is set.

Let's hope that we get things moving soon on this draft...

Some stats from two years ago - the last time I made the finals:

The initial stages of the draft (7 players + stadium) took a total of 201 hrs and 33 mins to complete.

The average amount of time taken between picks was 2hrs and 15mins.

The quickest picker was wjb who averaged 33mins per pick. (Happy to have him in the finals again this year).

The slowest picker (who shall remain nameless) took an average of 6hrs and 41mins to make each pick (with one of his picks taking 21hrs and 52mins)!

My average time per draft choice was 1hr 8mins - which is not bad considering that I live in Australia in a time zone that is 13hrs ahead of EST.

So - PLEASE make your picks as soon as you can. I'll do my best to keep things moving (checking first thing in the morning and last thing at night as well as several times during the day). If you are going to be away for any length of time, consider giving proxies to one of the other participants to do your picks for you while you are away.

In case everyone didn't see, the commish created a new Thread for the Finals draft. Komodos is up with pick #4.

I guess it pays to get the top draft picks. Here were my top 6 picks in order. I expected to get 1 if them at #8 and figured there was a 75% chance I would get a second one at #20.
