The short answer, if I have this right, is that divisional assignments are in numerical order: East is Franchises 1-4; Central is Franchises 5-8; West is Franchises 9-12. So your Franchise # will tell you your division.

This is correct. Am I missing something? League does not appear to be created yet.

Now it’s time to pick your teams. You know the drill, Load them in order by division, East first, then Central and West. Plenty of time, so no need for frantic rush.

And ... important ... please place your three drafted players last in your rankings (23-24-25) to try to ensure maximum fairness of draft and waivers. If anyone winds up with a player drafted by someone else, we’ll have to address before or at waivers.

Any comments, thoughts or insights in draft idea are welcome. Surprises? Anything?

Here’s mine: I wonder if five rounds would have been better than three.

Thanks to all!
I would stick with the 3 rounds, but wouldn't be terribly opposed to 5

Hmmm ... I had set up the league but it appears to have disappeared. I guess my question is how to set it up and leave it so that others can join in proper order. Never done that.

If someone in the East wants to go ahead and set it up ... rules and everything needed are on page 1.

Thanks.

This had been a lot of fun so far, and I've actually learned a lot about the history and character of my franchises while researching my teams.

I think that for a later league, if we want to try one, a five round draft might be interesting , but for this league, we should of course stick with three rounds, since teams likely formed their draft strategy in terms of a three round draft. I know I did. ;)
