Switch Hitters

Hey- quick question ...

Does HAL automatically have switch hitters hit from the opposite side or are individual pitcher and hitter ratings taken into consideration?

For example- Jon Lester is a lefty with a 6R rating. Will a switch hitter automatically bat right handed against him, even though he'd have a better chance at getting a hit if he were to bat left handed? Any way to designate which side of the plate my switch hitters bat from? I've got four in my lineup, and they're not platoon players; a reverse like this would hurt.

HAL will always bat the hitter the opposite. So in the case of Lester all switch hitters will hit from the right side.

Valen is correct. The game would be unplayable (at least for "reverse" pitchers) and unrealistic otherwise.
