I was counting on Woodruff as one of my starters so in light of another SOM error I'm in the market for another SP. Looking for a deal similar to the one I made for Velasquez but perhaps would be looking for someone a bit better to add to the rotation. Let me know if you have anyone available.

Did they come out and say they made an error (like Culberson) or do you mean that usually a guy with 4 starts has a starter rating and for some reason Woodruff doesn't. Just checking because I have no 2018 set teams going yet so therefore I am not seeing the messages SOM sent out on Culberson etc... just heard about it second hand.

We regret to report that we made another error with the set, failing to remove the Starting Pitcher endurance rating from 6 pitchers as we had intended. They are: Taylor Cole (Unleashed set only), Matt Strahm, Seth Lugo, Caleb Ferguson, Brandon Woodruff, and Roenis Elias. They were priced as Pure Relievers, so this issue must be addressed. In order to correct this, we had to take the following steps:

- In leagues that have already drafted, these 6 pitchers will remain SP/RP.
- For teams that haven't drafted and entered a league's preseason yet, that had any of these pitchers on their draft list, they were removed if their new RP-only status would violate draft list SP requirements; otherwise they were left alone.
If you had joined a filling league, you were pulled back out of the league so that you can take another look at your list.

We sincerely apologize for our error and regret the confusion it has caused.

Kolby Allard is a young player with potential and Cody Allen is likely to be the Angels' closer in 2019. I have no room to keep them on my roster, but if you do, then I would happily trade them for late draft picks.

I will also be keeping Jean Segura on the bench (behind Trevor Story) and would be willing to trade him for a back-end-of-the-rotation SP.

Wow! that's 2 screw ups to begin the new set. Don't they have guys that check this before opening up the set????

don't see where you posted the drop..... I see your list of keepers/cuts but not the drop for this trade. but according to our rosters, you don't need a drop as you were at 29 before the trade and Muncy gives you 30 (due to trading away players previously)

also, Eddie needs to cut a prospect NOW as he has 11 prospects with the Sanchez acquisition. Please let me know who to remove.

I dont think I understand how this works. I cut Senzetela and Sadzeck and Calhoun. I promoted Adames, Acuna and Mejia. That leaves me with 5 prospects: Tatis, Florial, Harrison, Kopech and Sanchez. If I promoted prospects then they shouldnt count on both your 20 man and your 10 prospects, it should be one or the other. And if I cut someone they also shouldnt count as part of my roster.

Help me out with understanding how I have 11 prospects.

Paul, you are doing an awesome job of staying on top of everything with all the daily moves. I dont know how you do it.

I think the interpretation is that since pre-FA-Draft promotions and cuts don't take effect until the deadline or until everybody gets them in, he needs one of the prospect cuts to be immediate to make room for the trade, which takes effect immediately.

Procedural more than anything. So I'd say just state you are going to cut Connor Sadzek immediately, as a result of this trade, and you should be good to go.
