Hi,

Teamnasty yes you can keep him but he counts against your keeper limit so you would only have 14 healthy players to protect just make sure to list that you are keeping him.

The following players were kept last year that were hurt:

Urias, Julio (Inj)
Familia, Jeurys (Inj)
Dahl, David (Inj)

Check the google doc they are listed as keepers but I list them in red.

If I keep him as one of my 15, I can still cut him at some point in the year if I want to during add/drops right? I'd just have to announce it on the league thread since he doesn't have a card.

Right just announce you are cutting a player that doesn't have a card. Of course at that point you would lose his rights, but what you are asking can be done.
