Taylor Cole has had 5 starts for me. 4 IP, 3, 5, 3, 3. Here is the 5 inning start if someone wants to dissect it. The S4 is a moot point though for everyone other than early start leagues since it's been removed.

Bob...

Does it seem odd to you that he's pulled @ F9?

I changed my settings to try and get more innings out of him.
I haven't changed "Don't Rel B4" yet. I will next time out for him.

Nice to know I wasn't imaging things...

From Strat...
"Thanks for these examples. We were able to find a side effect of the implementation of 4-endurance starting pitchers that affected fatigue. Yesterday, that code was fixed and fatigue is again working as it was prior to this change."

Well...

Nothing has changed.

Taylor Cole last night...

Pulled after 3 innings.
Slow hook
Conservative BP
Still @ F9

This game makes me laugh... again.

Strahm goes 4 innings, as usual. No -hits, leaves at F9.
Lugo comes in and goes 4.

5 pitchers combine for a No-Hitter.

No mention of Strahm...

It sounds to me like it is possible they have set the online game up like the super advance maximum rules that use pitch counts like the computer game. If that is the case, the F7 is meaningless.

Visick,

Not sure why, but I did have a few 5 innings work, notably twice from Strahm. He was at the helm of a one-hitter up until completing the 5th inning. But this difference aside, I have the same problem as you do: something overrides the instructions and Strahm gets pulled even though he is at F9 and against the instructions of leaving him on the mound unless he turns F7.

I do have "aggressive bullpen" settings on the the Team strategy page. Perhaps a conservative bullpen will slow the process, but I doubt. I think Radagast Brown is on something.

Looking back, I had 6 5-inning performance out of 14 starts from S4 starters. But at each and every occasion, they were pulled out before the 6th inning started no matter the performance or the score.
