no clock on weekends and HKmossy has been AWOL anyway. missing in several leagues.

I get the no clock on weekends, but no movement in almost 12 hours? I’m sure the same guys have checked their NCAA brackets today.

You are just referring to Lev. even if he had picked we'd be stuck 1 spot further down as HKMossy hasn't been heard from in days. So it would stall at him anyway. Hoping HK is ok. I've sent 3 emails and 3-4 texts. He is missing in several leagues.

Hey Lev! Welcome Back. Hope all is well.

Quick story. 10 years ago this August, I was in a car accident. I nearly died. I was paralyzed, in a coma for months, and then in rehab for almost a year. The men from Strat somehow tracked me down. They sent care packages. Baseball books. Signed baseballs from what they knew to be my two favorite 80's players (Strat didn't offer much more than 80's ten yrs ago), Mike Schmidt & Tony Gwynn. I got calls and texts from the guys I played regularly in leagues with. As I started to put my life back together, I opened my Strat site one morning to find I had 20 credits available, courtesy of Strat & Bernie.
I got visits from two of the guys I played with over the next year. One drove from NY to NH, the other from PA to NH. I got thoughts, prayers, support, and love from a bunch of guys I knew only through this game. It carried me through some really low times. I love baseball, I love statistics, I love Strat, and I love the friendships I've made through it all.

So to Paul's point, when someone goes missing for a few days, my first thought is always the well being of the guy. We're a family of sorts (though extremely dysfunctional at times!!), and I'm really, really glad to know that so many of you guys had my back once, and would have it again in a heartbeat. What we do in here is competitive, but ain't life or death, and it's far more about the relationships I gain than the wins, for me (don't believe me? Check my overall W-L % !!).

Hey Sean, I loved your post. I began playing Strat 10 years ago and eventually became commish in a number of leagues. As one of my managers recently suggested, I may never actually meet any of the other managers. but I feel that I "know" them better than most folks in my daily life!
