...many of you know my past with petro, there is really no love lost (i hate him and he seems to hate me). that said, he was really deserving this year, and my hat goes off to him. if I had to lose to a petro team, i am happy it was this one, as opposed to some of his others. In closing, i do note that i tried to include as many back-handed compliments as possible, to accurately show my true dislike of petro. i hope i achieved the same mix of compliment/hatred as petro achieved between his quality starters and super reliever. til next year...

Only 497 Plate Appearances in 1981. He'd be a 15 Game INJ Risk. Numbers crunch better for 1987 anyway.

Perhaps Riggo Drill should read last year's Barnstormer's thread to see who won what re trash talking.

There will be no further trash talking from me regarding Cristano. Frankly, I'm much better at that than he is anyway. I had thought we had put the mutual "hatred" behind us but his latest posts clearly indicate that for him, at least, that is not at all the case.

I have no reason to waste energy on someone who avowedly hates me. I don't hate him at all, but I'm at a point in my life and with this game, where I don't feel I have to prove anything to anyone - least of all Cristano.

So, he can and doubtless will run his mouth without end, but there will be no response from me.
