Madal (or just Al) proposed a new drops range for the Spring FA drafts. Currently, we have to cut as many players as it takes to get our rosters down to 30. We can drop as many as 15 for each draft. Al's idea is to have ZERO minimum drops and anywhere up to and including 15 maximum drops. So you never have to drop any player in a Spring draft again with this proposed rule change. Or you may drop up to 15.

Lakeviewdave - should be max 15 + number of prospects promoted, as originally, it was down to 30 which took into account prospect promotions so if you had 10 prospects you could drop 20, now limited to 15, so now if you have 10 prospects to be promoted you can only drop 5 players.

Very good point, Dave. The proposal WILL read 15 MAX drops + number of prospects promoted. If anyone who has voted in favor of the proposal wishes to change their vote, they may.

I'll vote yes. My work is blocking Strat-O-Matic now (site security issues; can't log in), making this all more challenging.

Not in favor of the proposal..

That's 8 yes votes. That means next Spring we don't need to cut anyone. OR we could choose to cut as many as 15 (+ number of cuts equal to minor league player promotions)

Thanks guys! This new rule gives us a lot of freedom IMO.

I know the rules say that ALL rounds of the Supplemnetal Draft are to be timed. But I'm untiming the 1st round. So no clock for the first round of our Supp draft. We'll see about rounds 2 and 3.
