I might be missing something, but how can you submit a draft with less than 5 Straight RPs. I don’t think that’s allowed. For example the A’s only have 3.
The 80s game does not require RP only players, only pitchers that are rated for RP such as RP only or S/R. You must have at least 5 pitchers who can relieve. The A's have 8 such pitchers.

For the teams eligible for the extra player, when do they pick their exchanged player and how do they announce what player they are giving up?
We will use the waiver process in this league. So the first opportunity to exchange a player will be via waivers.
A second opportunity will occur after waivers execute. An eligible team may choose to wait until after waivers so they can determine if a player dropped during waivers may be of interest to their team.
Just a few reminders—-only franchises eligible for the player exchange will be eligible to participate in waivers. Since there isn’t a way to limit this we are depending on the owners who aren’t eligible to refrain from submitting a waiver claim.
So if a team picks up a player during waivers for their "extra" player they are not allowed to drop that player prior to the beginning of the season if they decide they would rather have a different extra player? Is this correct?
