Dual Franchise League Season 26




This is the 26TH season of the dual franchise league. This League is using the ATG POST WWII CARD SET. Salary cap is 145 million, 5% DROP; Using a DH, no waivers.

Each manager must pick one team from each column below. . For the most part , teams on the left are original franchises and most teams on the right are expansion teams. ( THERE ARE SOME EXCEPTIONS HOWEVER, AND SOME TEAMS ARE COMBINED BECAUSE OF LACK OF PLAYERS.) A manager has exclusive rights to players on his roster; if a player is on more than one roster, he belongs to the team where his salary is highest. We are using a serpentine draft, so each manager picks one team first and then we reverse the order. You can make your first pick from either column. List of teams will be posted below. Official draft order will follow in an additional post.

We have 9 of the 12 managers returning so we are looking for three more managers. If anyone would like to join please post below. First come will fill the first open draft position etc

note; there were a couple of ties in the standings; tiebreakers were determined by head to head records and in one case I used total run differential as a tiebreaker. Also I spread out some of the vacant spots in the order. We could start drafting , but it may be wise to get the 3 spots filled first,

P.S.: For the Senators, it should be corrected to be:
Twins/Senators (1961 and before);
Texas/Senators (1962 and after).

Okay BDWARD....you have the 8th spot.....just need 1 more to fill the league....I will update draft order and changes later today

We need just one more to fill out the league.

Also after careful consideration I have decided to merge the DBacks and Padres. I don't foresee anyone choosing the DBacks whereas they have so few bodies on their roster; and I believe the Padres would be on the fence also for being chosen. By merging the two they will offer maybe 4 or 5 good position players, possibly 2 starters and 1 reliever.

Also just to keep things simple, we will be keeping the same rules we have recently been using in regards to the highest salaried card has priority, and also you may use any players card if you have his rights; for example if the Padres are not picked in the draft: Houston could pickup Caminit and use his Padres card.

I don't know how it works, but am a veteran player and would like to give it a try.
