Obviously it wasn’t noticed for the entire season so not much point in enforcing it now. That said to be fair he could have to drop 3 rostered players and promote the 3 he’s been playing (Quinn, Hanson, Kingery).
I did mention it privately however he was not overly receptive.
Unfortunately, it was noticed just hours before rosters locked for the rest of the season (game 142).
I agree, sjdcougars/Local102 should drop players from the active 30-man roster that were not used in the game for the second season.
Quinn, Hanson and Kingery are the three prospects that were used.
Curtis Granderson was also used, but he belongs to Mr Baseball World.
Aaron Altherr was also used, but he is currently not rostered.
That makes a total of 5 players on sjdcougars' roster that do not belong there.
sjdcougars - please indicate 5 of the following unused players from your roster that you will drop. 3 are dropped to make room for the prospects you promoted, and the other two are to be dropped as penalties for adding players from the free agent pool that were not yours to add.
P - JNicasio
P - CMartin
P - NRamirez
OF - A Dean
IF - Z Cozart
3B- E Longoria
2B - J Kipnis
2B - S Castro
1B - C Davis
The prospects you used will be promoted to your active roster. Curtis Granderson will be returned to Mr Baseball World and Aaron Altherr will be returned to the free agent pool immediately following the season.
These are very serious rule violations because they affect the integrity of the league. Additional penalty may be assessed at a later date, but at minimum the 5 roster cuts must be made as soon as possible.
