does anyone remember how long ago

Strat changed some of the cards in the set? Maris was the one i remember. i'd like to see the 2 cards side by side. any other notable card changes u can think of?

One that comes to mind is the Doc Prothro card. He went from a 4 to a 5 at 3B and his offense was watered down considerably. I remember the changes taking place but can't fix a time period on it. Maybe around ATG V or VI.

Maris was changed when it went to ATG VIII. I was only around for a short time with ATG7

what was the reasoning behind that? sure would like to see the cards compared to each other. all the changed ones side by side. i don't remember any pitchers cards?

I believe it was due to those seasons being Super-Advanced.

Easy answer. Load the spreadsheet, pick any card, scroll all the way to the right, and it will tell you the date of the last change or add.

I believe another card that was ridiculous before being adjusted for ATG8 was 1935 Arky Vaughan.

Also changed was either the '36 or '37 Bill Dickey, both Vaughan and Dickey's cards were moved directly from a different game set and both cards were over the top due to the game engine involved.

I recall Jay Alou
going from a viable cheap platoon option to unplayable.

I remember that Jay Alou card. He once had a 30 game hitting streak for me.
In game 31, he only got one plate appearance because of an injury.
