Chasen Shreve should be on NYY list (38 inn) rather than STL (14.2 inn) -at least until cuts.

Just to be clear....Our initial 25 man franchise protected roster DOES NOT have to be compliant with a SOM AD card. It only has to be compliant as we enter the league. Is this correct?

Correct!

It can only be this way, because there is sure to be one or two teams that have only 10 pitchers or 12 batters, or only 1 catcher. So the initial list is more a theoretical list - not an autodraft compliant list.

The main requirement is that the total salaries on that list cannot exceed $75 million, and if you are mathematically able to list a 25 man roster from your player pool that is under $75 million, you must do so.

I will anticipate another potential question. So I have the Blue Jays. Osuna is not considered to be a Jay for 2018 for this league, because he had more IP with Houston. Therefore, he is considered to be a Houston Astro for this league.

But what if (for example) Osuna had played for the Angels, instead of the Astros. Would he then revert back to the Jays, since the Angels haven't been drafted as a franchise?

The answer is "no", he will never be considered to be a franchise player for the Jays in this league, because he had more IP with a different real life franchise. This is true whether or not the Angels were drafted in our league. He does not revert to being a Jays franchise player under any circumstances.

Oh well, I guess that means I will have to fight for the rights to Chris Beck.
