Load Speed of the Boards

Has become agonizingly slow, whether it is Firefox, Chrome, or Safari.
And this is on a box with 48GB RAM, a blazing SSD and a hardwired gigabit connection, no weird add-ins or anything. Nothing else is slow except this phpBB forum. For people that have no problem with the speed, what browser are you running?

Same here. I think Strat used to have two hamsters powering the commodore 64, one of them must have died.

Thanks guys. OK, well they need to do something. I saw some extraneous stuff in the source but I am not totally sure what ad servers and tracking they have running that they require.

But I think there is some kind of broken API or handshake between the boards and the account login handoff among the SOM website, phpBB and the team pages, IMO.

Not wanting them to stop searching for efficiencies, but SOM's work has occasionally sped my access up about 500% from yesterday. Thanks SOM for looking into this! Still not consistent but it is clear they are working it.
The boards are what makes this a community. Really is needed
