Tour Finals: Draft Order & Chat

Sorry...No fake name. Played last year for the first time...Played this year for the second. Doesn't seem that hard though...LOL. Just kidding...

I played as a kid with my dad, but never online.

No fake name, just a healthy dose of beginner's luck.

Me making the semis literally came down to the last regular season game- then I won some in the playoffs, but had I not won game 162, my fake name would never be a topic of conversation.

And Brad Keller- man that guy is a steal.

I thought for sure you were Matt (aka spicki, cristano’s brah), esp with the Keller cracks (he’s been on virtually all of cristano’s teams).

I’m a little bewildered that not one but TWO players with relatively little autoleague experience can make it all the way to the tour finals. It makes me wonder if we’re all just flipping coins and don’t know it yet...

Have to admit I’m a little let down that there’s no big reveal that Edge or another old guarder didn’t sneak in under the radar, but kudos to you guys for making it this far.

My team won the 2009 PC in my first year playing in the tournament. Luck was clearly a major factor. Cristano lost the last game of the finals regular season when Chris Snyder hit a walk-off homer. We had a three-way tie for two playoff spots and Cristano was the "odd-man-out." If he had won, I would have lost the tie-breaker for my division title and would have missed the playoffs.

I'm looking for some of the same magic this year.

I personally am in no rush to start this draft. I have spent 12 hours of deep analysis today trying to build my optimal team. I could use a couple extra days to figure this all out. Won't be using Keller at all this year. He's not good enough. Same with Betts. Garbage. Same with Treinen. Pure trash. Right now, my short list is only Degrom, Trout, and O'Hearn for the third pick overall. No chance it is anyone else unless for some reason Jeep doesn't draft Nola, then Nola would replace Degrom. Based on Jeep's history, Nola is as good as gone. In the spirit of full clarity, if Betts is lingering post waivers I might be inclined to pick him up. Just wanted to get that out there. Had to throw away Yelich because in order to justify a lefty team, I'd need Yelich O'Hearn and Gallo. All three of those boys will be gone in the first 2 rounds.
