I HOPE if nothing else this little escapade will teach all of you the lesson of checking the roster before you make deals. You should save them, print them, whatever you need to do. I do the best i can to stay on top of things but i can't always catch everything in a timely manner. Each manager is responsible for their own teams.

In other matters, next time I take over a team such as the one I inherited in this league, remind me to check the roster before I take over the team. It sucks not having any Mets on my team to make outlandish, one sided trade offers to you Bill.

Glad Fred is staying. Fred should know this league is like The Hotel California. You can check in any time you wish....but you can never leave---------then a guitar riff.

Trader Dave offered me hired guns halfway through last season for future considerations, and I said no. I lost the Finals in 6 Games. I have to wonder if I had made that trade, I could have pulled the upset over Hawk. We will never know!

With that said, "Trader Dave" is a tough negotiator, but always glad he is in these leagues. Nobody has come up with as many creative trade offers than Dave over the years.
