I, for one, am hoping Jack makes his pick Monday morning :) KLX drafting Stram first overall put my entire plans in a tailspin. I was banking on Stram in the 5th and Lugo in the 6th round, just as I've pre ranked them all year! Ouch.

I sent Jack a pm. Can you Semis League 3 guys send him a flag over there? Maybe he’ll see that.

I would have taken Strahm in the first round. I also would have taken Trout, Voit and JDM after that. Stuck with Betts as a result of picking eighth.

I sent him a message from League 3.

I didn't expect Trout to get to me. Thought JDM would be my second choice. Apparently my plan and $5 bucks will (almost) get me a drink at Starbucks.

As Mike Tyson eloquently (?) put it. Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the mouth.

Strahm is a big time risky pick. You can't control when he comes in if you want 285 IP out of him. If KLX lands in a division with 3-4 pure lefty batters on each team, Strahm becomes a liability rather than an asset. On top of that, there are like 25 RP who basically have the exact same card. They are a dime a dozen. Except for Doolittle and Treinen. Doolittle has a far superior card to Treinen but, as I said before, I can't make him pitch more than 115 innings. Treinen is pretty good, he is a nice salary filler, but A.Miller and C.Green from last year had much better cards than him. A.Bradley from last year had the exact same card as this year's Treinen, and only cost 4.64m rather than 6+ million. I used to put Bradley 2nd overall on all my draft pre-ranks.

Betts is a stud. You can't go wrong with him, Trout, or Yelich. However, in my opinion, JDM=POS.

We have a rule in poker home games- no coaching, just confusion. Glad too see you subscribe to it, too.

My kids used to play a game called three truths and a lie. The idea was to guess which one of the things that you said was the lie. I think we are playing 3 lies and a truth here.

“3 lies and a truth” - yes, that about describes it, but I’m still waiting to read some truth. Appears someone doesn’t know what that is. Must be the best he can do...

Is this 8 rounds including a ballpark pick or 9 picks total?
