Tour Finals: Draft Order & Chat

I believe that would be Friday night by 11 pm Eastern for the draft to run that night and league starts on monday.

Now that Jack has picked, we should really get thru the last round fairly quickly, esp if Elmo is at least at periscope depth during the day.

Please be ready to load your teams today. Any fooling around on Friday will likely just end in disaster.

Respect to Jeep for maintaining complete radio silence during this process, yet never missing his turn!

I just sent Elmo a pm that I can proxy his park pick since I have already made my choice. Posting it here also just in case he doesnt see that message.

Gilbo, Elmo, Jack, Spider and Delbird also need to pick stadiums in Round 8.

Elmo has to pick a Stadium so Chris, Steve, and Jeff already having a Stadium can keep things going with your picks.

How happy is everyone with their team? I am 8/10 happy (caveat that I've never played small ball before). I think Jeep has a stud team, and I am hoping he misses playoffs. On paper I consider him the team to beat. Also, I really really like j-pav and spider's team too. And the returning champ has a very nice team, he picked up a stud rotation in the last couple rounds (caveat YANKEES SUCK).

There is a possibility that 7-8 of the batters on my team will be scraps that I've never used before. I guess the finals is as good a place as any to take these boys out for their first spin.

I am 7/10 so far. I had 3 times when I lost the player I wanted 1 or 2 picks before my turn. Those hurt and so I kept scrapping and rebuilding and scrapping and rebuilding. There is still a lot of team to fill in before I get too excited.

ALERT:

It is my understanding that Finals stadiums are unique. Jeep should not have Yankee Stadium (klx22) as a result. Am I wrong on that?

From the rules:

There will be a one round draft for unique ballparks to be done on the forum boards. The draft order will be the order of finish in tour points. Since each semi-finalist will have already used five different ballparks in Events I-V, they may not re-use those ballparks in the semi-finals. So, if a manager is picking 12th for the live ballpark draft in the semi-finals, he will have to choose from one of the 14 remaining ballparks (30 minus 5, minus 11 ballparks already drafted in that semi-final event).

Add two hour staff meetings to things I prefer over live drafts. Apologies for being off the grid for that time.
