ATG9 - ATG "Unleashed"

If that's the case, then there's no need for an Unleashed Set. However, I'm for an Unleashed set, because extreme outlier cards and cards for stats compiled before baseball became what we know today (1893-1894) could be included for those that want those cards.

I do want limited participation cards like Gates Brown and Ken Smith to be Unleashed. This is consistent with how Strat uses Unleashed in yearly sets. I disagree with the concept of Unleashed as a repository for non-MLB cards. In particular, the NeL cards should be in the standard set for any game that purports to be All-Time Greats, the original Team theme of ATG1/2 notwithstanding.

I'm not advocating the NeL cards be Unleashed. I'm advocating that outlier cards and cards from before 1893-1894 be Unleashed.

Why not just make up random crazy cards and give them fake names? WHy does it have to reflect anything, this way there is no limit to the card additions that could be made

It's pretty sad and ridiculous that pre 1894 players, who didn't play modern baseball are allowed cards in the regular set.

Make the slow pitch softball,and cricket cards unleashed. Otherwise I want my 1996 slow pitch softball card added to the set.

Guys like Ross Barnes, Tip O'Neill and Hugh Duffy did not face MLB pitching, and if they had, they would have been lucky to bat .220.

It's sad and embarrassing. No wonder The Last Droid likes the pre MLB cards.

Has anyone from Strat actually confirmed that there will be new ATG9 pricing? Or is this just still an item on the wish list? If confirmed, any idea on implementation date?
