Not sure what decent LH starters means. Would need to know who and what their cards look like vs L and vs R.
Vean Gregg is a decent LH starter. So is Randy Johnson, Leroy Matlock, and Santana.

At least for me in a neutral scenario, they are both the highest value choices among what you listed for your park and the others.
Plus, they are both strong against lefties and righties, high natural power, allowing you to stay strong at home against lefties without having a card that has only like 15 or 20 hits or low power against righties or on the road, and righties will be the predominant arms you face.

Very basic recommendation just based on what you presented at face value.

thanks. that was my thought as well. I did not list all the LH starters in the league, -- the starters range from Koufax to Candelaria, with 4 being reverse lefties, 5 E's, the rest are 1L-4L.

I have never used Stearns, so it will be fun to try him. My choice in not using Stearns before is his (0) arm, as I have found that having a gun in CF can help diminish small ball teams with speed.
I have had Griffey several times, and he has been both a monster and a bust, his lower OBP reduces his value in my experience.

Ah OK. Yeah you want to stay strong lefty in a lefty park, but sometimes you can get too slanted where you are optimizing your lineup for lefties which may only comprise 35% of your at bats. Then you become anemic on the road and average at home compared to your opponents.

In my opinion, you should be able to punish righties anywhere first, and be able to hit lefties at home at the least.

Brett for sure, and probably Turkey. Ott not a bad choice at all.

Looking closer at Stearns card, his 36 HRs are lower than Snider/Griffey/Ott, but his extra base hits, particularly the triples, are a real asset, plus a lefty who destroys lefties is always good to have in a lefty park.

For Stearns or any card, you can't compare their real life stats. Meaningless.

Have to look at the card and count the events.

For Dunn, Stearns has about 16 triples and homers vs lefties, and about 13 triples and homers vs righties.
Griffey has about 11.5 triples and homers vs lefties, and 16.5 vs righties. but only 30-35 hits against each (5-10 less each side than Stearnes) with a lower OBP.
But Stearnes has more doubles vs each as well.
