Given the high caliber of the managers in the Finals, I agree that a two hour clock seems unnecessary. Those of us still gainfully employed sometimes experience difficulty monitoring the draft during business hours, which obviously will vary depending on the time zone.
After multiple qualifying leagues over the last 9 months, Finals managers are likely eager to start the draft, get their teams drafted and begin play in the Finals.
I'm willing to make a good faith commitment to keeping the draft moving. If other managers are willing to do the same, is a clock really needed?
