Swapping out injured card with different year of same player

I've done it with Lajoie since his 15 gamers always happen when I try to use him, the second time it happens I invariably drop him for the 3 game version. But that's the only time I can think of doing it.

That being said, I don't really have an issue with it, like others have said as long as the drop penalty applies I don't care.
