The Albies rating is a little bizarre. He's only marginally better than Lemahieu's card against righties in the 2018 set (Lemahieu was a 1e5) and Lemahieu cost 4.65

ALBIES

I agree this card is way overpriced. It is kind of a 1/2 card for me. I would rather use WONG because of the amount of AB vs rhp. Yes ALBIES will destroy lefties, but he may not see a leftie in many series. The 2016 LEMAHIEU was 10.54 m, same great D, but could hit rhp and lhp

I agree this Albies card is overpriced--I assumed it would be, but not this much--being a switch hitter prices it up a little--but this card is very overpriced to me.

I'll be surprised if anybody uses Albies at that price!

The best keeper league formats will use him and hope there is a lot more iceberg under the age 22 season water line.

I took a look at the R3s this year on the Ratings Guide. (Suter is listed at 18 innings but I dont think he would get a card) I didn't see any good ones that were not also starters
Last year there were five good ones that were pure relievers.: Strahm, Nuno, Elias, Woodruff, and Lugo. It could be random fluctuation but Strat might have changed the way they determine who is a R3 or not. This year there are S1s which would have made R3s really powerful. It's going to be a lot harder trying to use R2s and R1s to pitch 7-8 Innings a game for those who just use openers.

A lot of the R3s in the past few years were S/R in real life and had the S pulled for the game. Don’t know if that’s relevant at all, but it did happen.

I forgot about that. It's relevant. I know Strat pulled the starter tags off at least Strahm and Woodruff last year because they would have been too good as starters.
Urias and Gonsolin look to be the best ones of the ones that could happen to this year...

So we should be in business come Friday?

Quick look, not even looking at top tier guys, pitching is expensive! At least SP that is!
