I think runs will be way up from tired bullpens if I'm reading bullpen ver 3 right. I seldom use slow hook--looks like it will be a must now.

What is this limiting RP you speak of?? was some new rule added to the game engine?? :o  :?:

Why do Matt Harvey (59.2 IP), Clay Bucholz (59 IP), and Rich Hill (58.2 IP) get regular cards but Tyler Glasnow (60.2 IP) is unleashed only?

I think because the first three guys had a pedestrian years (or worse) and Glasnow was unbelievably great.

Yup. If you have a $9m card and only 60 innings you’re unleashed.

I haven't read bullpen version 3 but so I don't know what limitations there may be. But the new rule of teams required to have 5 pure relievers (instead of 4 as in previous years) would seem to be the opposite of what you are saying.

Strat is saying that super relievers are pitching in testing about 2/3 of what they pitched before.

Lower pitch count for all RP is the big one, they will tire faster---rest after just one outing if he went long in previous game too is another biggy.

slow hook has been modified, Mopup cannot have a "do not use B4 setting"--and you can set RP for only two rolls now, so RP can't be set for Middleman, Setup, and Closer

I applaud them for the effort. If I can no longer get 270+ innings out of Seth Lugo, so be it.

Agreed. Anything that can make the usage a bit more realistic.
Speaking of which, for the current year games they really ought to eliminate the SP*.
No pitchers in today's games start on 3 days rest.
