Two-way players

How are two-way players handled in 365? I see Michael Lorenzen has a pitcher's card and a hitter's card. It looks like you buy one or the other?

Yes, they are two different "players". The two Lorenzens and two Ohtanis can face off against themselves.

No, like Babe Ruth and Joe Wood in ATG set only one card can be used at a time. The other card gets taken off the FA pool. If you draft one of them you could use them both ways by dropping and adding, but it will cost payroll.

It's lame that one team can't use a two way player both ways.

But he'd probably have to cost double the normal money. I'm sure you could have a Babe Ruth Hitter and Pitcher's Card - But it would cost you around 23-25M. It might even be worth it in a 200M League. Has anyone ever tried it?

There was another virtual baseball game, I don't recall which one, but it used career stats and allowed you to use Babe Ruth both ways.

Only thing was, if you pitched him, he had to rest for three days. The league also had (fake, inserted) off-days, so if there was an off-day in the schedule, I would use him occasionally in one of the three games prior. He won every time I tried it, but I only did it sparingly, and we only played about .500 ball for the games he missed, so IDK if it was worth it or not. My team made the playoffs, but got smeared in the first round.

For the seasons Bambino both hit and pitched, 1919, his final season with the Red Sox, was the keeper:

533 PA / 29 HR / 113 RBI /.322 / .456 / .657
133 IP / 9-5 / .643 / 2.97
