Shocked me as well. I really didnt need him with Story and Turner but decided to go the old " best available" route.

I usually start the Clock on a fresh day. The 1st round just filled up, so technically, the clock should start. However, there is usually a lot of interest in the 2 or 3 rounds where a clock isn't necessary. I think we will through today and tomorrow pressure free and start the clock on Thursday Morning.
