Is Strat-O-Matic about to become 2020's only baseball?

March Madness will be closed to fans. NBA is suspending their season.

Is MLB going to play their 2020 season with fans, without fans allowed, or suspend as well? If MLB suspends play (and obviously fantasy baseball won't be played), then will our only baseball be Strat-O-Matic online in the isolation of our homes?

Strange times. Be safe.

There is no business, no money to be made, without the fans. At the very least this 2020 season will be shortened. I don't doubt it may end up being canceled altogether.

If you're in a keeper league it might be smart to double down on the 2019 set

I think this whole thing has been blown way out of proportion IMHO.

Take a look at Italy. That can happen here. 97% survive it, however if everyone comes down with it at once it overwhelms the hospital system and then they can’t treat everyone. Italy health system is on the brink of collapse.

at one point only 40 deaths and 1700 infected during the swine flu epidemic...
no need to panic but it should be taken seriously....
the videos out of South Korea and Italy tell the story of being prudent and thinking it was no big deal

I just sent this email to Strat:

I read today how Mark Cuban is buying specific stocks that are really cheap right now, looking for a “black swan.” The coronavirus outbreak is terrible, sad, and scary, and we all get emails and notifications all day about how every company and industry is cutting back.

With no Major League Baseball and no fantasy baseball for now, I would suggest that Strat-O-Matic make a big marketing push to baseball fans and fantasy baseball players. It should point out Strat as a great choice for these times, but do this is a tasteful, inoffensive way.
