Pandemic Theme League?

With social distancing and no baseball or any sports to watch, I was thinking it would be good to get a mystery theme league going. I'm in a couple of keeper leagues but my teams are tanking and autoleagues are only so much fun.

Anyone looking to get a good theme league going? Anyone have a good theme idea they've been waiting to try? Let's get something fun going in our community.

I'll throw one idea out there. Many years ago I started a theme league, which was a keeper franchise league. Basically, you had everyone draft two franchises and you could use any player that had years with one of those franchises on their card. After the season is over, you chose to keep one of your two franchises and there'd be a supplemental draft for the second franchise. If we did this it could go over 4 seasons, from the 60s to the 90s.

Anyway, let me know if there's any interest and I can flesh out the rules some.

I’m game for anything. Another idea could be dealers choice. Each season randomly select from a list of themes, or select an owner to come up with one. We’ve had many different themes over the years, so it wouldn’t be hard to come up with a list. I do like 2 franchise themes.

Will wait and see if there's any more interest. In the meantime, I'm gonna join a 70s autodraft league, if anyone wants to come beat up on my team there.

Mystery 60-70-80-90

I've been playing a different settings for mystery cards and I find it very interesting.

So I would like to start a 4 years mystery Championship, 12 teams league ...

Here is the Description: Season 1, 60'S.
- $60 M Cap. - No players over $ 3M. - 25 Players at all times. - No more than 3 catchers and 4 pure relievers on rosters. - No DH. - 5% drop. - Any stadium. If you have any interest add your name to the list... I love this format, NO SUPERSTARS...

Thanks cabrera. I did under $3M 60s league a little while ago. While it was fun, I'm not looking to do another one at this point.

I'll probably start a sign up for my franchise-based league over the next couple of days.
