The next tough guys I find are the Dodger lefties: Koufax and Kershaw.
They rank 89th and 44th respectively on BBref. 70th and 41st on Fangraphs.
Kershaw has a monumental 16+ WAR between him and the 24 All-time, but wow, despite tales of his demise, he just turned 32 last week.
