HER ARE THE CUPCAKES GM COMMENTS AFTER THE SWEEP

Disappointed, obviously. But it was probably inevitable — this team had a lot of things go right in the regular season.

-Every pitcher finished above .500.
-No pitcher lost 10 games.
-No position player or platoon pair made 10 errors.
-Three platoon players hit 40 hr.
-Of 15 hitters, just one failed to hit 10 hr.
-Team played .500 or better vs every team, both home *and* away.
-Team tied for most wins, $100m. (A couple have been better in $80m.)
-Team started 19-0 and 30-3.
-Team lost just 10 of 54 series.
-Team got swept just once in the regular season. (Also by the Tigers. Hmmm.)

Just one correction to the above GM comments. Team did not tie for the most wins at 100M. Not even close.
