I just looked back and we are making a pick every hour or two, so I don't think we need to change the clock. I will try to be better about sending emails to get people moving if it slows down.

I don't think we need to change the clock. This draft is moving along very nicely.

as we get into the later rounds of the draft, I just wanted to remind everyone that we have a 140 million budget for 40+3 guys. Your 3 prospects count 500,000 each against the cap. I see some guys at $125+ million already spent with 11 or 12 guys (+3 prospects) still to get. That's a lot of super cheap guys.....

hopefully everyone already knew all this, but just wanted to send out the reminder that you need to budget 1.5 Million for your prospects as well.

Thanks Paul. I will enforce the cap by having teams drop and REPICK players if the go over. With 12 picks remaining teams need to have $7.5 mil left to meet salary cap limits. If you have spent $130 mil after 28 rounds the most you could spend on any one remaining player would be $3 mil. The average you could spend would be about $700 k per player. Remember you need to save $1.5 mil to pay your prospects.

How is everyone weathering the pandemic? Thank God for the distraction of strat-o-matic.

I'm from Prince Edward Island, Canada's smallest province, and they were really early and aggressive in the response to the pandemic here. So far we've only had 22 confirmed cases, all travel related, and no deaths but we are being warned that it is likely to get worse eventually and to stay vigilant in our efforts at social distancing etc. The situation is much worse in our more populous provinces pretty much mirroring what you are experiencing in much of the U.S. Hope everyone is doing well and having Strat is a nice distraction.
I decided to check my players years of service after Paul Long pointed out there were some with incorrect numbers in the available players list and did find one error. Gio Urshela is listed at 1 year on my lineup page but it should be 3 years. I think we should all double check our players before we go into the contract phase of this.
