Two comments and two questions

The rules say that a penalty is imposed for the acquisition of free agents after the draft and the penalty will be set out on the league page. Two of the league pages say 5/10/20% without disclosing when the various thresholds go into effect. I believe I saw the timing for the threshold to go into effect in the newbies thread which I currently cannot find. In any event, shouldn't it be in the rules. Could someone tell me what the timing is, and as I have asked in a previous thread, could someone give me the link to the newbies thread?
I don't think the nature of the cards in the mystery leagues is explained in the rules. That explanation should be provided. Fortunately, people on the forum have been helpful.

Thanks for the link to the newbie thread and thanks for the game thresholds for the penalties. I stand by my claim that those thresholds do not appear on the info/help page. For the baseball section, here is what it says, "You can release a player from your team back into the free agent pool at any point after the draft and before Game 142 of the regular season. To do so, go to the "Your Team" page, and click on the player's price. You will then have the opportunity either to claim a replacement from the free agent pool (if the Waiver period is over), or to release the player without picking up a replacement.

Before the season starts, you receive a player's full salary back when you release him. After the season starts, however, you only receive a portion of a released player's salary. The percentage you receive back depends on your league's FA Drop Penalty settings. You can view your league settings during the season by going to the "Your League" page. Make sure to balance your salary cap carefully!

The league page does not provide the thresholds. What am I missing?

I checked your link. I do not see the information. It is not under acquiring free agents in season and it is not under my free league or 1970's league. Maybe it is on the 2019 league page.

It constantly amazes me that people will play a game without reading all of the rules first.
