On my third season using a franchise model.
I limit my roster to players who spent one or more years with a specific team.
Learned this from another player, whose Superstar Sixties team was all Dodgers.
I have two variations. One is using players who had a season with the franchise no matter when. The other is strictly limiting the roster to players who suited up during that decade for the team.
It does restrict your roster options. But as the other player noted, you know how your favorites performed in their stadium and with each other.
