Question about ATG 9

PostMon Apr 06, 2020 8:40 pm

For those in the know; other than the new cards we recently voted on will there be any new cards added to the set?
And also besides the new rules to try and eliminate the super reliever are the any other new game changes? Can we expect major changes or is this is just going to be ATG 8 with repricing???

"All new player salaries" were listed in the announcement blurb and we anticipate the new bullpen changes to curb the use of the super reliver issue. Beyond that, nothing else has been officially confirmed.

New player salaries were listed in an announcement blurb? Where is that?

At the top of your team "home page" where they put announcements. It's part of the Barnstormers 2020 announcement.

Yes, of course. It just says "we will have new player salaries." Not "these are the new player salaries." Read too much into it.

For the record, the announcement blurb over our team pages says:
This will be the first tournament to play under the upcoming new version of All-Time Greats which features all-new player salaries.
So..."all new player salaries." That's very interesting--and it's hard to know how we'll feel about the changes till we see them. I anticipate that there will be joy in some neighborhoods of Mudville, and considerable wailing and gnashing of teeth in others. ;)

No large group like ours will ever be truly satisfied no matter what the final results are.

I think it will simply be a matter of finding the "new" values. It's impossible to price over 5000 cards without having outliers

Do the price fixers on the committee get to play in the tournament?

If the tournament starts in May, we should have ATG9 in May.
