With the starters reset the Cupcakes got swept at home as they had during the regular season when they faced the Tigers with their top 2 starters and a rested Dale Murray. However the cupcakes did totally destroy everyone in their division but were only 10-8 against the other 2 playoff teams. (Equal to a 90-72 record). They were 53-19 in their division and 29-7 against the next 3 worst teams in the league.
Exactly the kind of balanced analysis that is lacking when some folks assume XXX number reg season wins guarantees some kind of post season result. We have all had it. I recently had a 107 win team lose in 4 in the semis, and it was a decent league and a team I had success against. But it still doesn't mean anything. Tip your hat and say well done...that's why we play the games.
