Gilbo, I agree with you that it is difficult this year to make $80M teams.
However, you have to remember, what we have in 12 team leagues are essentially semi-all-star teams.
There are 30 teams in MLB, each having about 30 players who are rostered, and this is what Strat gives us (around 900 players give or take.)
So, in a 12 team league we are taking the top 300 players. No matter what, the realism is out the window. By moving the salary down to $60M, you expand the player pool, to where you can't ONLY take the top 300, you are expanding the pool of talent that has to be taken due to salary restrictions. This forces managers to evaluate more players, use more platoons, and manage pitching better. Isn't that what you want from the PC?
As I said before, I am fine no matter what is decided.
