125 million cap, ATG8 set, players from a single franchise. I'll take the Pirates and start the league if there is interest?

When you say "players from a single franchise" what do you mean? Do you mean:

1. Any card of all players who ever played for the franchise? or

2. Any card of any player who has a card for that franchise? or

3. Player cards for that franchise only?

Also, in the case of players who played for more than one franchise, which franchise gets the player? Will who gets the player be determined by:

1. The autodraft? or

2. The franchise with the highest priced card for the player? or

3. The franchise for which the player played the most seasons? or

4. The franchise for which the player had the most PA during his career for hitters or the most IP for pitchers?

Also, DH or no DH?

Poorly designed franchise leagues with vague rules regarding player eligibility are the number one source of squabbles in the SOM ATG online game.

If you design your franchise league well, you'll get managers to play. If you design it poorly, you may get managers to play, but there will be a lot of bickering, so carefully spell out the rules when you create the league to minimize potential arguments.

The links are below – we usually do six team leagues as it can be difficult to build 12 competitive teams if we restrict the roster to a specific era. We also adopted a rule that allowed managers to round out their rosters with $1.0 million and under players from an unpicked franchise.
