I am sure Joe the Jet is keeping Last Druid informed of how everything is going so the proper person will be allowed to prove he is the best once again, making the process totally fair considering how unworthy the rest of us are.

The week the rest of us will have to analyze the pricing is totally fair in comparison to a month of having all data in a computer model, pretty much the exact same thing. Last Druid has informed us that there are only about 3 players that can win the tournament anyway, and as Joe the Jet will provide him ratings for all the ball parks and leagues as he plays in the tournament his initial thoughts on the pricing of the cards will merely be confirmed, none of us can understand the grand mathematical formulas all these cards work upon our results. With 5000 cards with programming for a month can you gain a real advantage? Meanwhile the rest we can wait and prove what second class citizens we actually are, and we should be grateful we are allowed in the same room as the great and powerful.

Schimpf: I see you are still same the paranoid misanthrope from all those years ago. Just to set the record straight I have had zero contact with Joe the Jet since the last card addition. So not only do you impugn my character you impugn his as well. But now there will be contact as I will make sure he gets to see this thread. Since he does run a business your comment could be construed as libelous especially if he can demonstrate monetary damages. That of course does not include any punitive damages that might be awarded. He is a good guy who does not deserve your paranoid vitriol.

Just in case Schimpf's/gkhd11a's defamatory post mysteriously disappears I will append it here.

You don't understand libel, cranky pants. Good luck down the stretch in barnstormers.

Not sure how I got drug into this thread, but I haven't told anybody anything about the new pricing. How do you know that I'm even involved?

I do believe that everyone should have *some* way of evaluating all those players with hitting versus fielding, power versus OB, etc. My method is just one way. And, my ratings are available to anyone for a reasonable fee. And, honestly, even with a rating system of some sort, you still have to put the time in to figure out how to build a proper team. It's not just plug and play. Of course, that's the fun...figuring out the puzzle.

If I was involved with the pricing, I would guess that the prices would be changing so much that anything before the final prices are worthless to consider. AND, you guys who have played the game for a long time already know the guys who were under/over priced. I'm sure they will be adjusted appropriately.

The Last Droid is a very overrated manager who can only play the one set of cards. You will never see him play any other set. If you play the same set 2000 times of course you are going to get good. But he is lazy, scared and unwilling to play any other set.

Why are you taking a shot a Last Druid (I assume that is who you meant, not last droid!)? If someone wants to play the same team over and over again, figure out how to beat them, don't complain about it.

JJ you are yourself complaining about RB complaining about LD.

(and yes, I am pointing that out, effectively complaining about you complaining about RB complaining about LD, who was complaining about someone else complaining about you and RB.)

Radagast Brown clearly has some very deep underlying issues with the Druid. Perhaps Bruce could do some analysis on him so that the rest of us reasonably well balanced people here can figure out exactly what Radagast's problem is.

Personally I'd pay to see an MTV Deathmatch between the two ....
