I agree with the "Aggressive" setting. You team should run the bases effectively.

I find that for HAL the cut-off point for running frequency and success tends to be 1-14. Guys with that rating or higher will run pretty often--and obviously better, the higher the rating. 1-13 and below, HAL runs less often, and generally with less success when HAL does run.

With 5 players at 1-14 and above, and three at 1-17, your team should do well on the bases. Just don't expect much running from 1-13 and below. And that's a good thing. My gut feeling is that you want at least a 2/3 success rate on base running to make it a paying proposition. At the aggressive setting, your team should do better than that.

That makes sense, and I will change my manager settings accordingly.
