Duren should not be rated to start. At all. He had 1 actual start on the card everyone uses. If he had a 60-day injury chance, due to overusage, maybe we wouldn’t see this reliever anchoring rotations.

I did a few leagues where the max park allowed was the 8-8-8-8 Turner Field, which definitely made the numbers much more reasonable. Seems like the ballpark effects could be toned down a bit.

Agree. The swings are just insanely large between bomber parks and Petco. Not even vaguely close to realistic.

I've been on hiatus from SOM and really just ATG for a bunch of months now. Not sure if I was getting bored or felt that perhaps the cost/benefit ratio was out of whack. I've been playing OOTP Perfect season for the past few months. Will I return to SOM?

I'm certainly intrigued by ATG 9 and will take a good, hard look at it. But unless the pricing structure is addressed, probably wait. I'm frankly surprised they didn't run a Covid-19 special pricing blowout to attract all of the players that are at home right now with time on their hands.

We'll see......

Not surprised at all ,they have a captive audience and by the speed in which leagues are filling and the way I believe to be the record number of sign-ups for Barnstormers they see no need to give back one dollar. I think as a promotion they might want to donate 10% of each dollar spent by all of us gamers to food banks or some other way to have our community reach out to the greater community. Bill

Maybe. But I have to say, I smell a sale coming just around the corner. :)

Don't they have a sale just before Barnstormers starts. That way most everybody has already purchased their teams.

I just saw a sample team in another’s thread, Penmar, 375 homers. Par for the course. Most teams are skewed, hard, toward something (small ball, steals, homers, stacked lefties, etc). I’m honestly getting fed up with seeing the same thing in every league. Might be time to stick to themes. Maybe even being back my old Randomination league.

Of course they're skewed hard. It's the only way to compete in this game.
