Let’s go with ATG 9 already! Can’t wait to try out some new players — and see what kind of devious crap HAL is gonna pull under the new bullpen rules.

(FWIW, I don’t want to play in a league where GMs can customize stadiums, but I can see having it as a league option, a la DH or no.)

Dunno if this has been discussed, but any idea what Strat means when it says “a few other goodies as well” in its banner promoting ATG9? Wild speculation encouraged.

Off the top of my head, it would be nice to have improved HAL logic in his baserunning and base stealing decisions.

Yep, this would be good. At the very least they need to be reigned in a bit. Instead of 0-20, maybe 5-15 or something more in the middle.

Someone mentioned ballpark doubles and triples earlier and many years ago it was believed that they were factored in the ballparks, but it was a hidden thing that we were not privvy to.

Don’t see the problem of customizing the ball park. We customize just about everything else like relievers going 250+ innings, platoons, base stealing and the running game, limiting pitcher’s F options, defensive changes late in the game customizing how we play on strategy. We do this more than we think we do, in fact every game is customized in a general sense.

Still looking for that ATG 9 flagship.... oh, it couldn’t come into port because of the Corona Virus quarantine.

exactly-- its often if not either personal or random then at least humorous, where the lines are drawn. The assumption begin that a customizable ball park will automatically result in MORE offense - which of course is silly given that you already have 1-20 HR parks available right now at this very moment. You also have Petco already too.
Now that's not to say you shouldn't be able to turn off BP effects either -- but honestly I have a feeling the stuff under the proverbial hood affects the game similarly to what BP does.
and again- I STILL suspect 2bs, and 3bs are currently in effect.
