Yeah, it's essentially plus two for S5s, S6s, and S7s. So unless you get a S7--which is rare--you are not getting complete games. S4s are only plus one.

As for relief, if I have a good C6 I would put him set-up. closer, don't relieve before 8th. But if he is a R2/C3-6 I might put him set-up, tied late, or some other category figuring that Hal will put him as closer, if necessary. One owner prefers their best reliever as middle relief and set-up to preserve the lead. I seem to be preferring to try and get good starter and go deep with my starting pitching (F8 and slow relief) and then have some cheap guys come in late if necessary. But if I have cheap starters I am going to defense-in depth. Four or five guys. I had a 5 million dollar starting staff and that's what I did. (pretty close to 15 million on relief) But given the pay-off for getting expensive relief is now problematic I favor get as good as starting pitching as you can and pitch them until their arm falls off.

300 used to be exceptional.

One week on from this post are some teams still on track for 600 HR's?

How did this end up. Are we looking at a new abnormal?

It’s looking like 450-460 when the season ends this Friday, with total league homers around 3250+.

Looks like HAL put the brakes on after the fast start.

Pre-Card Draft Keeper League ended the first season pretty much as projected at game 99. Compared to the first season last year:
HR up 35%, from 2,542 to 3,428
ERA up from 4.16 to 4.65
